PREPAID CARDS AND VOUCHERS - To access the web, your customers simply purchase a prepaid card (or voucher) from your front desk and then enter the card's PIN into the login screen. When the PIN's prepaid time credit expires, SmartTimer automatically ends the session and returns the system to the login screen.
CREDIT CARDS - Another convenient payment option that can be used exclusively, or in combination with prepaid cards/vouchers, is to allow customers to purchase prepaid access directly from the login screen using their credit card. All processing is securely transacted via the PayPal network. There is no extra set up charge to include the credit card payment option in your SmartTimer license.
MULTIPLE OR SINGLE SESSIONS - Most of our Internet Café operators allow their customers to use any unexpired prepaid time credits for later visits. However, should you wish to offer a different session format, the credits can be programmed for a "once-off use" or have varying expiry terms such as "good for 24 hours" or "good for 7 days" .
HOW MUCH SHOULD I BE CHARGING CUSTOMERS? - The charge out rate for your customers can be partially determined by how much local competition is available, the proximity of the competition, the age of the equipment and the environment in which the service will be offered. After you have carried out your research, you may decide to provide customers the choice, for example, 15 minute, 30 minute or 1 hour prepaid time sessions and decide to charge $2, $4 and $6 respectively.

CUSTOM PREPAID CARDS: This high quality card has excellent durable properties. The card can be used to promote your brand while offering services such as membership or loyalty programs. Full colour front face, branded with your company logo or advertising message. PIN and User instructions are on the reverse side. The cards are weighted at 350 gsm, printed on matt with a varnish finish. For added security, a latex scratch panel covers the PIN.
Cost: AUD$360 per 1,000 cards, plus postage. Minimum order 1,000.
To place a custom card order send a digital file containing your prepared artwork and any other details you wish to display to solutions@smarttimer.com. A proof will be sent back to you for approval and consent to proceed to printing.
If your artwork has minor variances, include the quantity of each image e.g. if your order consists of varying text or values such as 10, 20 and 30 minute cards then specify the quantity of each allotment. There is a small additional printing cost associated to each change. We will be happy to quote the adjusted price when your details arrive.
Deliveries can be made via first class mail or by courier if requested. Allow up to 4 weeks processing, printing and delivery time. Card orders must be paid for in advance of printing.
GENERIC INTERNET CARDS: Generic card characteristics are the same as the custom card version. These cards are usually carried in stock and ready to ship as soon as you require them. This popular product comes in a range of modern images. Generic cards also enjoy the added security of a latex scratch panel that conceals the PIN.
Cost: AUD$250 per 1,000 cards, plus postage. Minimum order: 500 cards. Card orders must be paid for in advance of shipping.
PREPAID VOUCHERS - These can be customised with your branding and are delivered in pdf format to your email account. The file can be printed off by you with each A4 page containing 25 vouchers, ready for distribution to your customers. Processing time is typically within 2 working days for completed orders. Just email your logo or branding image to solutions@smarttimer.com for incorporation into the voucher.
Cost: AUD$200 per 1,000.
Minimum initial order: 1,000 vouchers, subsequent orders 500 vouchers. Voucher orders must be paid for prior to delivery.
