SmartTimer Hotspot is both versatile and flexible. Your customers
access the web by first purchasing a prepaid access card and/or
paying via the Hotspot’s online credit card processing facility.
As a manager, you can set up your own pricing and session time
structures. You also have the option of allowing your customers to
use their prepaid time credit over a single or multiple log-in sessions.
At any time, you can monitor online all your sales activities and statistics from anywhere in the world.
Where bandwidth is an issue, SmartTimer Hotspot allows you to restrict individual User download speeds (also known as Traffic Shaping), so that no User is able to dominate the entire bandwidth.
When a User goes to browse, SmartTimer Hotspot captures the requested web page and redirects it to a login page that is customised with your chosen branding and pricing structure. To access the web from the login page, the User is prompted to enter a PIN from their prepaid internet access card and/or purchase a PIN using their credit card ... it's that easy!
An assortment of 200 prepaid cards will be provided to you free of charge, upon account activation. These cards will be pre-configured to match your desired session time structure, for example, 100 cards of 30 minutes, 50 cards of 60 minutes and 50 cards of 120 minutes. If you have multiple Wifi locations, these cards can be encoded to make them usable at all sites.
Your customers can purchase prepaid time using their credit card. Payments are processed via the internationally recognized PayPal network. This ensures that all user financial information remains secure and confidential.
Users do not need to be PayPal members - they simply use the widely accepted PayPal credit card processing facility. Existing PayPal members have the extra option to pay using funds from their account or credit card.

Profits from your prepaid card sales are realised by you immediately.
Proceeds from all sales using the credit card processing gateway are reconciled monthly by Smartware and credits are paid directly to your nominated bank or PayPal account. You will receive the amount of the gross proceeds, less fees and credit card processing charges. At all times, live web access enables you to monitor all customer activity.
Depending on your installation, you may need greater coverage than that offered by the SmartTimer Hotspot. In such cases, the signal can be enhanced using a range booster, a network of other access points or numerous other commercial grade solutions.
